Pete's Story...
Pete is a JRT mix about 12 years old Pete likes the quiet life – a soft bed, a short jaunt outside for business, food and treats welcome, of course. He walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the yard but is always happy to go back into the house. He is housetrained and does not get up during the night, as long as he is out just prior to bed. Pete is friendly to people, loves to be petted and will sit on the couch or your lap as long as you let him. He doesn’t bark much except when he hears the doorbell. Pete has a cute habit of “humming” when he’s settling in for the night; when it stops you know he’s asleep. Pete is good with other dogs as long as they are quiet, no young dog hijinks are tolerated for more than a few minutes. Since they have spent most of their lives together, Pete and Ringo are bonded and should be adopted together. Their adoption fees will be reduced given their ages even though we Jack lovers know a 12 year old Jack is far from old! Please contact MAJR if you’d like to adopt Pete and his pal Ringo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete, a Blue Bell Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
