Betty's Story...
Friendly, affectionate and a whole lot of fun, she’ll be your partner who shows you the joy in everyday activities!

Meet the Flintstones! Parents Fred and Wilma are happy to announce the birth of Dino, Barney, Roxy and Betty! They’re even happier to announce that Dino, Barney, Roxy and Betty are ready to leave the nest and begin the rest of their lives with you! The puppies can adjust easily to living in a small space, yet are active and need daily exercise and mental stimulation, as they are highly intelligent! Playful and affectionate, a nice walk can turn into cuddling once you return home!

Socializing your puppy early will allow him or her to grow up as a dog that enjoys meeting people and other dogs, so get out and have fun with your pup!

Preparing ahead of your puppy’s arrival at your home is great; however, Dino, Barney, Roxy and Betty may need the added warmth of a sweater or two, especially during walks outside. Food, treats, toys, a collar and leash, bedding and a crate will round out the most important items you’ll need. A great veterinarian is also essential to maintaining your pup’s good health. Dogs need flea and tick protection and yearly checkups to maintain optimum health.
Betty will entertain you with her larger than life personality and playful antics. She’ll love receiving praise for a job well done! Don’t be surprised if she follows you around the house! Betty is a smart little gal who will enjoy games and outdoor romps! You’re going to love Betty, and she’ll love you even more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Houston Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
