My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy is all ears though they don’t do much more than add to her cuteness. Roxy was born deaf, but this should not stop anyone from considering her for adoption. Deaf dogs make great pets. She is smart and sweet and not overly energetic. At three-years-old, the little Jack Russell terrier mix has grown past the crazy-puppy stage, making her quieter and easier to train than her younger counterparts. This lowrider loves her daily walks and behaves well on leash. Don’t let her deafness deter you from falling for this great pup. Deaf dogs are not very much different from having a hearing dog. Roxy comes equipped with her own support group and a complimentary training session to acclimate her new family to living with a dog that cannot hear. To meet our special girl, contact The Pet Rescue Center today.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, veterinary exams, and current vaccinations while in our care. This fee helps to defray the costs incurred for these and other pre-adoption expenses.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia, and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
