LEONYA's Story...
Attention! LEONYA Here!
I am a very happy, cute, loving, female, spayed Tea Cup Poodle/Terrier mix looking for my forever home. I was born around mid of December 2015. I am really cute and eager to see what happens next. I was rescued when the samaritan who found me outside in an RV park and took me to the local shelter thinking that the shelter will vet me and find me a forever home. The shelter told the samaritan that they would most likely euthanize me as I am underaged and shelters have no room or funding for puppy/dogs vetting. I am limping a bit on my hind leg. The rescue who met my samaritan in the parking lot offered to take me into rescue. I will have a vet check to see what is causing my limping, what actually doesn't bother me. And here I am! If you are looking for a dog to bring into your family and home, I am a real candidate... no worries, you will not be disappointed! My best fit would be a family with no or minimum school aged or older children, old enough to understand that I am not a toy and have to be handled careful, otherwise I could get hurt. It is required that there is already a small friendly dog in the family. This will help with socialization and is in the best interest for me.
Yours with a happy tailwag!
LEONYA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEONYA, a Inland Empire Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Maltese for sale in Inland Empire, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Maltese dog from a breeder in Inland Empire.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inland Empire already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inland Empire breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Maltese breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inland Empire paves the way for another one to be saved.
