Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nicholas is approximately 3-4 years old, weighs 19 lbs. and we are guessing his breed to be a min pin or chihuahua mix. As you can see from his pictures he has the most adorable ears. Nicholas is about as sweet as they come. A very loving boy in spite of obvious neglect in his previous life.
He was found as a stray the week before Christmas and all signs indicate he was kept in a crate that was way too small for him prior to being found. He had pressure sores on his butt and nose. His front teeth were damaged and he was missing a couple teeth, most likely from trying to chew his way out of the crate. He had his teeth cleaned and a total of 8 teeth removed but that doesn't stop him from eating. He has a great appetite and loves his treats! Nicholas has mild gum disease as a result of his poor dental care and needs regular brushing. He will likely need to have his teeth cleaned at least once a year.
Nicholas is very easy going and low energy. He likes to relax on the couch but is always ready to join you on short walks or car rides. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is home a lot or retired. He's a total love bug!
Due to his past, Nicholas needs a home where he will never be crated and where he will be considered a part of his family. He wants nothing more than to cuddle and sleep with his human(s). NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE REQUIREMENTS! He deserves the best life possible and we know his new family is out there just waiting for him!

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
