Kitty Jo's Story...
Hi, my name is KJ, aka “BITTY BOO,” a funny name that my foster mom has nicknamed me. I am a 3 year old HANDSOME BLACK TABBY boy with a SOFT VELVETY coat and a cute white tip on my tail. I LOVE AFFECTION and ADORE being SNUGGLED and CUDDLED by that one special someone. KJ’s foster mom has said, “He is the MOST AFFECTIONATE CAT that I have ever met and he is the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST CAT in the entire world.” KJ will FOLLOW YOU around like a puppy and LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY. He is a ONE PERSON CAT and will do very well in a home without other animals or children. If you desire a CONSTANT COMPANION and a LOVING FRIEND, then KJ is the purr-fect cat for you. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kitty Jo, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
