Sweet Pea's Story...
This rescue puppy was saved from a kill shelter by CARE and is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX and can be transported to an approved adopter in the US and Canada.

Well hello there! Thanks for checking me out. I’m Sweet Pea and I’m a sassy and affectionate Labrador blend pup. I was rescued from the city shelter in San Antonio by CARE rescue. I hear that for a dog, being saved from a kill shelter is like a human winning the million dollar lotto! Well, in that case, I’m a winner! I have a winning personality and happy dance and I love other dogs but not as much as I love people. I’m 4 months old and weight approx. 25lbs and I’d love to turn my winning situation into a loving forever home where I’m adored and trained and loved and very special to my humans.

Please apply to adopt here: http://caretx.org/forms/ and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP!

This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to go to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and micro-chip. Please call CARE at 210-858-8422 or email adoptions@caretx.org

* CARE rescue is in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation and 400+ adoptable pets lose their lives in the shelter and on the streets every week. CARE is a non profit 501c3 rescue that has been saving lives for over 6 years and with your adoption, we can help save even more deserving urgent adoptable pets! We fly our pets to approved adopters all over the US, especially in low kill and no kill markets where there is a demand for rescue pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a Redmond Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Redmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Redmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
