Hello friends! My name is C-Lo, or C-Lo Wrinkles, and I am a four year old male English Bulldog! I was surrendered to Chicago English Bulldog Rescue in February with my best friend in the whole wide world, Meatball, and we went to a foster home until we find our forever family.
I may be a big boy (75 lbs!) but don't let my size fool you. I am a cuddly, fun loving
bulldog. I love to play and wrestle around, especially with my foster dad. I can even
jump up on the couch all by myself, even though I've been told I'm not supposed to, but how can you say no to my face? If you let me up on the couch, I'll snuggle there with you all day if I can (except for when there is food). Who said lapdogs need to be small!?
I love being around my humans all the time, especially while you're walking around the house. If there is something keeping me away from you, like one of those terrifying metal things (my foster humans call it a gate) I get really sad and bark to let you know that I disapprove of what's going on. I don't love walking as much as Meatball, but I'll go if he's going. I prefer to go outside and do my business, then go back inside and lay down.
I think the best exercise isn't walking, it's snoring, and I could win an olympic medal in that category. I also am great around my foster kitty sister, but I don't quite get
that she is small, and I try to play with her like she is a big dog like me. She doesn't
like that very much. I am also great around small humans, but sometimes I forget that I am bigger, and when I play with them I'll try to jump on them to play.
I'm a pretty healthy boy, just in need in some daily maintenance to make sure I stay that way. I have a lot of wrinkles, so those need to be cleaned everyday, and I need to get my ears and tail pocket cleaned out daily.
