Facts about Emily

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
This strikingly beautiful girl is Emily. She is petite girl with a huge personality. She was took into the rescue with a leg injury at only 7 weeks old. While she was being treated there was an issue already taking place in her system called Corynebacterium also known as pigeon fever which is rare in cats. Due to her being so young the disease caused her to have abscess all over especially over her joints. This resulted in her growth plates being damaged causing her to have permanent joint issues. She weighs in a little over 7 lbs. She was born in May 2015. She does need to be on a daily joint supplement called Cosequin just for extra joint support. She lives with her deformity by refusing to not let it stand in her way from having fun and being playful! Not only has she learned to live with her disability, but she has became wise and well experienced in handling matters or situations that may be challenging. She requires an experienced adopted only to make sure she has her needs met. She gets so excited when playing she likes to squeak when she plays with toys. She hasn't met a dog she didn't love....even if they didn't like her. This sweet girl is non stop fun!
