Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 6 month old black lab mix with a beautiful coat of velvet. I have an English lab build, so I will not be the long leggy type. I am on the calmer side for a puppy my age but don't let that fool you ... I will still need a lot of training to be the great girl I deserve to be. I need to be crated until I am trustworthy in the house when you are gone and need supervision while you are home with me. I get along wonderfully with my 13 year old black lab foster brother and 10 year old 11 pound Foster sister. I am very respectful of their space because I know they are passed the playing stage of life. I tend to be the submissive type. I just follow them around and wag my tail and lick their faces. I love my young 2 legged kids in the house. I love to play with them and love when they throw things for me to fetch. I especially love all stuffed toys ... even ones that are not meant for dogs. I correct easily and am housebroken already. I might need a refresher course when I come live with you. I am not food aggressive. I release things from my mouth fairly softly when I have grabbed something I am not suppose to chew. I crate quietly when my Foster family leaves for short times. I sleep quietly in the crate all night, as long as my crate is in your bedroom. I am not a barker but instead a quiet girl unlike my Foster siblings. I am learning sit and wait before I eat and go out the door. I have not been trained on a leash yet, so I will need your guidance. I love attention and I am looking for a house with very affectionate people because I am a lover and lap dog. I also would love a kid or two to grow up with and maybe a dog to play with. I also need exercise, so a walking partner is a must and someone who will take me to training and isn't gone for long periods of time during the day. I want to be a part of a family and experience all life has to offer. My Foster family thinks the world of me and promised me that I will be able to find what I am looking for!!
