Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WILLIE is a 4 year neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 90 pounds. He is a big boy who is very friendly and likes to be with you. He likes to be petted and has a very nice LabLean. He would rather get attention than retrieve not sure yet whether he knows how to play with toys. He has a good nose, found my treat stash in about 20 seconds. His old owner told me that inside he was a couch potato but does like to go out and play. He would love a family with a big yard for him to play in and keep his owner exercised. Good with other dogs lived with Hunter. No cat history. Knows sit, down and come. Okay on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. House & Crate trained. Willie comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placements is limited to single family stand-alone homes in a suburban neighborhood, or rural area. Willie is approved for kids ages 10+.
Update:: Willy has arrived at his foster home and is SO excited to be out of the kennel and stretch his legs! He does know sit, down, and come, but it was a little hard to get his attention last night because he was so excited. He pays attention for a treat though! He loves food. He pulls a bit on a leash but does great with an easy walk harness. He seems very happy to be out and about, and cars, people, etc. do not seem to phase him at all.He likes to play keep-away with the tennis ball and other toys, and thinks it is very fun when you chase him. He is a very sweet, loving boy who loves everyone!
Willie is a owner give up as hisr owner has a brain tumor and is unable to take proper care of him. He turned him into a rescue who we work with as he knew we would take him. r. Willie was given to him by a friend who was transferred overseas by his company. . His owner had moved to a smaller home and he was staying in a separate climate controlled kennel. He is house & crate trained.
