Polly Pocket's Story...
Polly Pocket is a very special petite little Pittie girl looking for a family of her own. She came to us with severe polyps in her ears causing chronic ear infections. Polly underwent a very invasive surgery to correct her ear canals. Although this was a painful surgery, Polly has been nothing but sweet, patient, loving and gentle with everyone. She is good with children, doesn't seem to mind cats, and is good with dogs. Polly is about 2 years old and weights 45lbs. This sweet heart has a very small stature but the biggest heart and smile you will ever find. She is potty trained as well as crate trained. We observed she was chewing on her feet quite a bit and was keeping a constant ear infection. We did allergy testing on her to see if we could get to the root of her allergies and it turns out she is allergic to dust mites. She is now taking allergy pills to control the issue and it seems to be working great.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly Pocket, a Russellville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
