My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie is an adorable, playful, friendly and cuddly four-month-old female tabby kitten without rear paws who is looking for a loving guardian.

Alfie landed at Chicago Animal Care & Control when she was only five weeks old. Her rear feet were dangling and no one knows what happened except that it was a traumatic injury of some sort.

She gets around amazingly well and has no fears of cats, dogs or people! She does best on carpet than hard wood as she is able to get better traction. She has no idea that she is different from other cats and is happy and playful as can be.

Alfie’s surgeon wants to see how she develops before doing any more treatment on her legs, but she is available for foster/adoption now the rescue group will handle her veterinary bills. She just wears a sock to protect the fragile stump on one rear paw.
