Mingo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Mingo's Story...
Mingo was found at a rural dog pound and has clearly been neglected. He is an approx. 1 1/2 year old boy who is 15 lbs underweight according to our Vet Clinic.
He is only 48 lbs and should be 60 or more lbs. He was infested with parasites and has some skin issues probably from very poor nutrition. Mingo is dog friendly and ready to be treated like the Prince Charming he is.
Adoption fee 150.00 ****Mingo moved to foster care 2/15. He has done well with the other dogs in the home and ignores the cats. He CRAVES attention from his foster mom and is learning to be comfortable in his crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mingo, a Avon Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Avon, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
