Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunka Hunka Burning Love!
That’s our Wingnut – he has so much love to give! Wingnut was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility after his primary owner died. This handsome boy is extremely social, affectionate and playful.
When you walk by Wingnut’s cat community room, he is often on the Kitty Kot in the front window by the door and he will tap at the glass and roll onto his back to entice you to come in and say hello to him.
As soon as your hand touches the door he is down on the floor waiting to head butt and allorub you in greeting. He can’t decide which he wants first – to be picked up and help, petted or playtime with his favorite cat toys (those with feathers). He gets so excited to have company and he just wants to hang out with you.
Wingnut is a big boy, tall and weighing just over 16 pounds. He is sleek though and very toned – all very helpful when pouncing on his cat toys ;-)
Wingnut would prefer to be the only cat in the family, but he does seem very interested in the dogs as they walk past his cat community room. We also feel that it would be best if he were in a home with adults, not younger children.
Come meet this handsome boy and see for yourself what a hunka, hunka burning love he is!
You can meet Wingnut at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Wingnut, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
If you have any questions, please contact the Cat Adoption Team online or call Bob at 619-840-9727.
