My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who can resist being caught up in a medieval fantasy? “Under difficult conditions, Tyrion holds the city together, strengthens and organizes the city’s defenses, and make an alliance.” Sounds like our furry Game of Thrones character, Tyrion. We like to think that Tyrion got his siblings to safety first – they were first brought together to Wilmette Pet as 2 week old bottle babies. Then, two weeks later, Tyrion had the courage to make an alliance with a human so he could be reunited with his siblings!

Tyrion is now a very happy and outgoing, playful kitten. Although he isn’t really happy with change, he will need some time to adapt to a new home and would be best with another playful kitten. Once you have a toy on a string to play with him, he can't resist it! He’s wonderful!!

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt young kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Tyrion must have a playmate in his forever home…and then they can play and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if one of his new foster buddies is still available. They’re already great buddies who LOVE to play and cuddle together! Or, at this young age, kittens from different litters can easily be mixed ‘n matched with minimal transition time. If there is already another playful cat or kitten in your house, that would work out too…he already proved he is great at making friends!

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months of age. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements. Tyrion’s foster home recommends that he have a buddy…he would be too lonely without a playmate.

You can meet Tyrion at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt himer on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

Tyrion’s estimated date of birth is 9/15/15 and his adoption fee of $135 includes his vet exam, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
