My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey!

We love Honey! This dog is the sweetest! She is VERY cuddly likes to stay close to her people. She even eats her food better in our company. A little timid at first, she really relaxed after a short time. She's crate trained (does not bark at night in crate) sits calmly in the passenger seat on car rides. She is great with our toddler- she follows him around giving kisses. At the vet she didn't mind a large parrot or the other dogs. She does not chase our 2 cats or our chickens. She's getting used to a leash, but stays nearby & listens when off-leash in our yard. She is smart & treat motivated: after 2 days she was housebroken to the word POTTY. She is also learning SIT, STAY & COME. She has a sharp sense of smell. I think she could be trained for agility competition- with the opportunity she loves running & jumping in our open yard, following my lead. She gets excited playing with her chew toys but ignores my sons toys that are left all over the house. During play she has the self control to stop & approach gently from a full speed run. She is quite athletic and will need an outlet for that - but she's also an excellent couch potato when it comes time to chill with us in the evening. And, of course, she has the most amazing green eyes & makes the cutest little expressions with her ears raised & head cocked when she's learning.
