Kangaroo came to FVHA on the Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin' for a better chance at finding a loving home. She is a beautiful girl with a heart as big as her personality. She loves to jump, just as her name would suggest, and is extremely intelligent. Like any young dog, she will need lots of love and patience, as well as training and playtime. Kangaroo will be a fantastic choice for a family who is active and energetic who does not have cats, as she thinks that dogs rule and cats drool. She was successfully treated for heartworm disease while at FVHA and is now healthy and happy and thriving.

We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
