Mia's Info...

I am a special needs pet and in need of an experienced adopter.

Mia's Story...
Mia was taken to Miami Dade Animal Services along with Buster, both turned in as a stray. Our rescue decided we had to save BOTH dogs not really knowing what would come next. Mia is an older girl, had a hernia the size of a baseball and she also had what appeared to be severe cataracts. The hernia has been repaired and her eyesight was next. Unfortunately, we found out she has degenerative retina that has been going on for a while and is not reversible. We would love for her to be in a loving and patient home live out the rest of her life. If you are interested in meeting Mia, please contact us at 877.506.8100 or 100PlusAbandonedDogs@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Ft. Lauderdale Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Ft. Lauderdale, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Ft. Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
