Maxwell "Max"'s Story...
***LOCATED IN ARKANSAS***This sweet boy is Maxwell. He was found as a stray and turned into a shelter. I then pulled him from there and he is now in a wonderful foster home. We believe him to be a full bred Schipperke. Max, as they call him, gets along great with the other doggies in the foster home and he loves sleeping in bed with his foster momma. Max is just an overall wonderful doggy. We have not had him around cats but can't imagine him having a problem with anything or anyone. Max is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. He is estimated to be about 2 years old and about 13 pounds. He is located in Arkansas so there will be a $140 transport fee and his adoption fee is $250. For more info on this sweet boy- email vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering one of my rescues!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxwell "Max", a Trenton Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
