Morgan's Story...
Morgan is a 2 year old female who is already housebroken, knows her basic obedience commands and gets along great with other dogs. She was surrendered by her owner to a local shelter after being found running as a stray with her brother, Jerry. Morgan will be vaccinated and spayed prior to adoption and should be available by the end of the month. Morgan's only vice is digging, which is likely why she was found running the streets a few too many times. Her new owners should take precautions when she is outside and not leave her unattended. She is being fostered by April and Larry in Middleburg.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Savannah Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
