dakota's Story...
This big girl is Dakota. She is about 7 to 8 years old and is close to 6 feet long. She was abandoned in the parking lot at our local shelter, don't know anything about her history. She is a very good eater, eats a large rat every 2 weeks. You may notice her nose is slightly deformed. This poor girl must have been living a cage that was too small for her and/ or has been searching for food (rubbing her nose of the cage top). Since she has been in foster she has a nice cage to explore and a big water bowl to soak in, no cage rubbing here. She has a good temperament, does get shy with quick moment, but tolerates a lot. Her adoption fee is $50. If interested you can contact me at and please fill out the adoption form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

dakota, a Hammonton Snake was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snake for sale in Hammonton, or seeking a Snake from a breeder in Hammonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hammonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hammonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snake breeders who help with Snake rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hammonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
