Etsy-Adopted!'s Story...
Etsy is a Shepherd mix puppy and the daughter of Cici, an adoptable dog also in our rescue. When full grown, she will most likely be a medium-sized dog. Etsy is full of personality. She likes to play with her brother Skeeter and also LOVES humans. She gives kisses and loves to lay in her human's lap. She is very treat motivated. She already knows how to sit for treats and is working on learning "twirl" in her foster home. Etsy also enjoys playing with stuffed toys. She is currently living with a small child, her fur brother and a foster fur sister (small dog). She has also had contact with other dogs her in her previous foster home so she is becoming well socialized! Etsy is crate trained and is currently working on potty training. Birthdate 12/16/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Etsy-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
