Sid's Story...
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood, and Sid just wants to be your new best friend. This male American Bulldog/Pittie Mix always has a smile and a happy wagging tail. Sid is 1 year old and gets the "friendliest" dog award here at ITV. No one would ever know we rescued him from a kill shelter just a short while ago. Sid has adjusted well, enjoys leash walks and rarely meets a stranger. He would be the perfect fit if Mr. Rogers was still around and needed a sidekick. Sid is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. He is a large sized dog weighing 48 pounds. Sid will need room to roam and a strong responsible pack leader. He keeps his kennel clean here and loves to give kisses. If you've wanted a large dog and will never again let Sid see the inside of a shelter, please submit an online application at ITVRescue.org. This handsome guy wants to yours! Could you be his new forever companion???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sid, a Evansville American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Evansville, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
