Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lily's Story...
Lily came to LPAH with a skin condition that her previous owner had let get out of control. She was immediately brought to the vet and received medical care. Ever since Lily has spent time in a loving foster home where she has blossomed into a beautiful pup! Lily is 46 pounds and is described by her foster mom as being energetic and loving. She likes to snuggle on the couch in the evening. She knows sit and is house and crate trained. She loves to play, tug of war is her favorite. Lily gets along well with our other dogs, but is probably not a good candidate for a home with a cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Sanford Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
