Hi there. My name is Sawyer. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Fredericktown/ Calcutta area and I was picked up by the pound.
I am a really sweet, happy, loving goofy coonie boy.
I am a wonderful boy!! I'm going to make someone a really wonderful addition to their family.
I have an abundance of energy and I'm relatively untrained, but I am very social and friendly.
I LOVE people and I'm wonderful with other dogs. I LOVE to romp around and play with the other dogs, so a playmate roughly my own size would be great!
I will need a patient family with time to train and housebreak me. I should also be crated trained, because true to my coonhound nature, I will find a way to entertain myself in your absence (which could mean chewing things up and destroying things).

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
