SNICKERS's Story...
Snickers is a 9 year old senior who was surrendered because of his owners illness. He is currently on medicated baths and medicine for an eye infection and gum infection, all which will clear up in time. This sweet old man is in the process of being updated on his housetraining manners. He gets along very well with his current foster sister and resident cats. Snickers is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and on preventative for fleas, ticks and heartworm. If you are interested in more information on Snickers, contact foster mom Cheryl at 608-346-0019 or email chioak@gmail.com. You can visit Snickers on Sundays from 11am to 4 pm at our adoption event at PetSmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd., Clarksville, TN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SNICKERS, a Dover Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Dover, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Dover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dover paves the way for another one to be saved.
