Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wesley is a Yorkie/Shih Tzu who is about 5 years old and weighs 8 lbs. This sweet boy did not come to us through a shelter or as a stray. He was being given away for free on Craigslist along with his bff, Buttercup. We were lucky enough to snag them both. He is housebroken and he gets along well with cats and kids. He can be a little intimidated by strangers and will bark at them and back away. He can be a little aggressive with men but his foster mom is working with him on establishing rules and structure so we expect that this may settle down. If he's given space he'll soon come trotting over for a cuddle or a belly rub. Once he warms up he’s a real sweetie; very loving and affectionate but also independent and able to entertain himself. He walks well on a leash and he is super smart. He knows the commands SIT, SHAKE, GO TO CRATE. He is very obedient and easy to train and is just a real easy dog. He’d be great for first time dog owners but we do not recommend him for a home with young kids right now until we get to know him a little more.
