Housebroken: Absolutely and will whine when I need to go out.
Crate trained: I've always been a good girl in the house and never been crated. If crated you can expect me to whine so I can be near you.
Fenced yard required: NO

Grooming: NUNU was just groomed, when she came into rescue she was so matted you could hardly tell her breed. She is a breed that will need regular brushing with grooming every 6-8 weeks.
Good with children: YES
Nunu is just so darn cute and her personality just speaks volumes. She will come running to you to see who is in her home. She will bark when a stranger first enters, then stops and waits for you to introduce yourself and pet her. She has the best personality. You can take her anywhere with anyone. She shows no aggression with food, toys, people, kids or anything at all. NuNu is very smart and eager to please. She loves to sit in the recliner with you in the evenings and settles down when the household quiets down. Not much on barking, we’ve only heard her once.
Please don't be fooled by NuNu’s age, she still has energy to burn, is playful, yet loves to sit with her humans and just chill. In the evenings, she loves to sit quietly and snuggle. The ideal home for NuNu would be either a retired couple who is home most of the time or a home with children and a stay at home Parent. We will not adopt to a home just being an only dog and no one home most of the time. Please do not apply if you cannot meet the above requirements.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process, so emails are much preferred. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Adoption fee is $350
All adopters must be 21 or older. All applicants must submit an application for review, which can take up to 14 days to process upon receipt. Once the preliminary application is approved a home visit is required to complete the adoption process. All adopters must enter into a legal and binding contract upon completion of the adoption. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date on all vaccines, rabies and, microchip heart worm/flea prevention and medical records.
