Kasper came to the PA Great Dane Rescue through a shelter in New York. Below is their write-up regarding Kasper:

He has been kenneled for a year, and we would love to see this older guy out of the shelter. He was turned into our shelter because it takes him a few times to get to know someone. He has never bitten, but he will scare strangers from walking into his home. He will bark at them, but he is a lot of talk. Because he is a very large dog, he can be intimidating, therefore making it difficult to place him. Once he gets to know you, he is the biggest mush. A big snuggle bug! He is pretty dog social too but can be a bit selective sometimes with who he wants to play with, so it depends on the dog. We have not tested him with cats.
