Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a mini lab that was rescued on a beach in Greece with her two puppies in October. She was a puppy herself and now is just 1 year old. She is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed. She and her puppies arrive in Toronto the first week in March. She needs a family who will give her the love and stability she has never had. Lucy gets along great with children and dogs and would be great in any family. If you are interested in Lucy, please contact our rescue at Cause4Paws Toronto for our application and to learn about our foster to adopt program, get more pictures and learn more about this sweet girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Toronto Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
