Ralphie*Adopted's Story...

Adoption Donation:  $150.00

Meet Ralphie. He is about 8 yrs old and weighs about 8.5 lbs. He was found as a stray with fleas and ear infections, but after treatment and a good groom, he's getting back to his handsome self. He is partially blind in one eye due to cataracts and is a little hard of hearing, but that doesn't slow him down. While Ralphie is a little shy, he warms up quickly and likes to lay by your feet. He does well and plays with the other foster dogs and likes kids too, so a doggie companion would be a plus. Ralphie would love to find a forever home that can give him all the love and attention that he truly deserves. If you are interested in adopting Ralphie, please complete an adoption application.

Ralphie is being fostered in Bristow, VA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie*Adopted, a Herndon Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Herndon, or seeking a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Herndon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Herndon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Herndon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Herndon paves the way for another one to be saved.
