I'm Amber Leigh!

I am the most awesome, gorgeous girl ever! I am great on a leash and super smart. I am great with kids and I've been known to give them lots of kisses. I absolutely love to be around humans. I may look muscular and stocky, weighing 50 lbs, but I am a softy at heart. I guard my food around other dogs, so I will need to work with a trainer on that or at least fed meals separate from other animals, but I've never shown any aggression towards humans, even with my food. I would really love to have a family of my own and a nice bed to sleep on. I LOVE to cuddle! Can't you see me on your bed or on your couch watching late night movies or sports? I CAN!

I am spayed, UTD on my vaccinations and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200.
**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**

**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!

*****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED*****

About Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is an organization that is dedicated to saving animals in rural areas, mainly in 'pounds' and shelters, both high-kill and no-kill. There tends to be a higher overpopulation rate in rural areas due to lack of animal ordinances and alteration to prevent unwanted litters. Many animals are 'dumped' on country roads left to parish or end up at the local pound or animal shelter if they have an empty kennel. Many of these animals have a limited number of days before they are euthanized. In addition to placing animals in foster and adoptive homes, networking with rescues to assist in placement and adoption of animals, RARE also performs fundraisers for spay/neuters and other vetting to prevent further overpopulation and promote quality of life for the animals we save.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees cover all vetting for the animals in our care, including vaccinations, Heart-worm test, Heart-worm treatment if needed, Feline Leukemia test, spay/neuter and may vary, depending on species.

Fosters and Adopters will be required to complete an application with personal and Veterinary references. A home visit is also required.
RESCUES, please contact us regarding pull information or pull fee, if any, depending on vetting already provided by RARE.
