My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is handsome Bryan, approximately 3 yrs old, 45 pounds.
Bryan was rescued from a family that abused him (physically). Since his rescue, he moved in with a loving family that rebuilt a good relationship between Bryan and people. Despite his bad experience with humans, Bryan gave us a second chance. He is a loving boy that loves people of all ages, he has not lost faith in us.
Bryan tried to escape from the foster's home a couple of times when he first moved in, we believe it was because of anxiety, but once he realized he was in a safe place he settled in. Note: this is important to know as he may react like this when he goes to a new family/home.
He LOVES to play with other dogs and run around in the yard. He walks great on leash and is not food aggressive.
Bryan does excellent with small dogs but does NOT do well with bigger dogs, he is afraid of them and gets distressed when they get too close to him.
Bryan lives mainly outdoors so some house training will be required for him to become an indoor dog (if you are not willing to work with him and an accident will upset you, please don't submit an application).
Bryan has been vet checked multiple times and is already vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.
A home with another small happy dog would be a huge plus as he really enjoys their company. Also a home with a yard is preferable.
If you are interested in him, please submit an application at www.drwb.org. We will contact families only if an application is submitted.
PLEASE submit if you are serious about giving this loving boy a GREAT life, only if you believe in positive reinforcement, and treating dogs with respect. Bryan deserves a great life with NO MORE suffering and abuse. That is our promise to him and we will strive to achieve it.
