Sophie's Story...
Meet Sophie! This beautiful little girl is around 2 years old. We pulled her from a local pound and she has shown what a gem she is already! She has “paw” and “sit” mastered and takes treats extremely gently. Sophie loves to walk but her very favorite thing to do is cuddle, preferably on TOP of you. Not only is she stunningly beautiful, but she has a personality to match. Sophie would prefer a cat and small dog-free home, but gets along with pups her size. We believe she’s a boxer/pit mix - she certainly seems to have a lot of boxer in her. Sophie is a catch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Newtown Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
