Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pearl is a sweet, petite, gentle lady who always looks a little like she's winking at you. She was dumped in a stranger's yard with six of her kittens from two different litters, still nursing the youngest and already in heat again. She has been spayed and seems greatly relieved to be done with motherhood.
Pearl is talkative and happiest when she has all your attention - she will flop down on the floor right in front of you and show you her belly, or sit next to you and purr while you pet her. Constantly birthing and feeding babies from a very young age has kept her small and skinny, and she seems determined not to use any more energy than she needs to, though she will play quietly with a "cat dancer" toy if you shake it for her. She does not seem to enjoy being around other cats, even her own offspring, but may adjust to other pets in her adoptive home if introduced slowly. She would probably be an excellent only pet.
Pearl will be available for adoption in late February. This quiet, loving kitty is finally getting the first real break of her young life and is ready to make the most of it in her new forever home! Pearl is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
Approximate DOB is 8/2014
