My story

Sierra is approximately 2 years old.

Sierra is a love!! All she requires is loving humans who will give her belly rubs and she has no shame in asking for them! When meeting new people, she walks up to you, lays down and it is belly up’ for a belly rub from a new friend. She meets no strangers and loves everyone, adults and children alike! If you do not like a very affectionate dog, do not get Sierra, cuz she loves to give kisses and be petted! That is her total existence is to give love and be loved. She has a very calm, laid back personality and doesn’t need much exercise at all. Just take her out to do her business and she will beat you back to the door to take it easy on her bed or the couch. Sierra is crate trained, housebroken and has perfect manners, all she needs is a loving home to call her own!

A.W.O.L. Rescue is located on the outskirts of Dallas Texas. The dogs/puppies were pulled from shelters in surrounding areas that were due to be euthanized had we not taken them in. It is our mission to place all of our ‘rescues’ with sound, loving homes. There will be an adoption application which must be completed and approved before adoptions are final. All of A.W.O.L’s rescues are fully vetted before adoptions. All dogs/puppies will be current on shots, worming and will be spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes.
