Special home requirements or medical: Bree has allergies which affect her eyes. Zyrtec works for her; Benadryl does not. She does not need to be on Zyrtec all the time but when her eyes start itching she needs to take it.
Additional info: Bree was adopted out from us a while ago and is being returned because she is not good with toddlers. She is very sweet and loving towards adults but she has fear/aggression towards little kids (and possibly even older ones) so we recommend her for a home with no children. The new owner should be experienced enough to steer her clear of children on walks as well . Otherwise, Bree is very affectionate and loving. She is submissive and fearful at times and will pee when scared or if she feels threatened. Her new owner would need to be understanding of this and she may do best without carpet for her little dribbles when she someone leans over her. (There is also the option of diapers if necessary until she becomes more confident.) She has learned SIT and STAY. She is in the learning process with the command LEAVE IT as well and has been to some obedience classes. She is so smart she even puts herself to bed at night in her crate. Bree loves to play fetch and is very active. She would love to live with a new family which has an active lifestyle- she can even keep up on mountain trails! Her family says she is an awesome dog to be around and they would not be surrendering her but for the problem with their son. She is incredibly affectionate and wags her tail non-stop for attention. She would love to be someone's everything and their little lap dog. Bree is ready for her new forever home right now!
