Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker is a handsome boy & would be perfect for a lover of large breed dogs. He is 80 lbs plus, but has been very well trained and is obedient. Tucker came to his foster mom at 4 months old as a stray and was adopted to a good home for over a year. His family greatly loved him and trained him very well, however a life change led them to have to surrender him. Tucker sits, stays, shakes, and fetches. He is housebroke and has been socialized with children and other dogs. We are not sure on cats, but he is a big teddy bear, so we don't foresee him being harmful to them. Tuckers previous home was with a family who did in home daycare and he was socialized on a daily basis with infants and toddlers. He is still puppyish in that he likes to play and he does not know his size. Therefore, he may do best with a large female dog his size who wants to play also, or an owner that would like a walking or running companion. Tucker is going through crate training right now at his foster home.
Because the public is ignorant about Bully breeds, we recommend (but not required if other good options) a secure fence for Tucker. Also, we will give preference to applicants with a verifiable pet ownership history, or experience with Bully breeds. Please call today to be his forever home.
