Maggie May's Story...
Maggie May – M16-018
I’m Maggie May, a young at heart, healthy 8 year old seeking a new Forever Home. My “old mom” rescued me when I was 2 and we had a gret life. Then 6 years later, she got sick and went into hospice, so I came to Magicats where I’ve been living a different life with other cats and some loving people. It was hard losing my mom and it’s taken me awhile to figure things out, but now I’m confident and secure that I’m ready to move on. I would like to be a companion Only Kitty for someone lonely and loving who just needs a friend. In foster, I’ve lived with other cats and a small dog, and we were okay together, so maybe we could work things out. More important are quiet people, a great lap, some snuggles and a window to guard the yard. I have lots of love to give you. I’m INSIDE ONLY, current on my shots, had a complete dental just last year, spayed, and negative for FIV/FELV. I’ll be at Twin Falls PetSmart in January if you’d like to stop in and chat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie May, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
