My name is MAGGIE MAY, and I'm eight years old, in my prime and needing a new Forever Home. When I was just two, I was lost or dumped and almost froze to death. I was rescued by a wonderful older lady who took me to the vet, and saved my life. I became her Forever Friend! We had six wonderful years of love and adventure. Recently, she got really, really sick and worried to death about where I could go. Then a friend told her about Magicats. We had a tearful goodbye, but next thing I knew, I was at the vet's getting a checkup - I'm wonderfully healthy!. Then Kate, a really nice lady, took me to stay at her house until we can find me a new Forever Human. It's nice here. She has a good lap, and a young cat guy named Chaz who's showing me the ropes. She also has a little friendly dog. I s'pose I'll stay here until someone needs a great lap cat, snuggler with bushels of love and butterfly kisses. My picture shows I'm nice looking, being a short haired dark tortie lady, but you can't hear my great purr or measure the love my heart can give you. The Magicats lady said to tell you I'm INSIDE ONLY, current on my shots, just had a great dental treatment, negative for FIV/FELV, and naturally, I'm spayed. When you see me on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet think about whether I might fit in your family, or as a companion to another senior person who just wants company. About Magicats Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers that started this organization almost four years ago. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.

We respond quickly to phone messages and email inquiries.

Our Adoption Process...

Our current fee for a cat or kitten is $68.00
We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.
