Adele Pup's Story...
Adele is a beautiful 8-10 month old Collie Mix, weighing around 35 lbs. She has such a sunny disposition that she brightens any room she enters. Adele plays well with other dogs but can be a bit intimidated by large dogs until she gets to know them. She is getting weekly trips to the dog park to help her socialization. She loves toys and treats and is a very smart girl! Adele walks well on a leash, is housetrained, crate trained, and she knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and current on Trifexis. Adele would probably do best in a home with a fenced yard or a daily trip to the dog park as she loves to run and jump but she is also very happy to settle on her soft dog bed for a long nap. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL. If you are interested in a medium sized dog with a happy personality then please apply for Adele at www.forrescue.net/dog-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adele Pup, a Chattanooga Border Collie/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Collie for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Border Collie/Collie dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Collie breeders who help with Border Collie/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
