Here's what the humans have to say about me:
located in Redding area
see our site for all adoption info
the girls slide show too
Two wonderful very loving and well loved family dogs looking for a great loving home as a pair
will not split up
meet Hope and Courage
yep they know their names well
have been loved and cared for
no hang ups
raised with a small dog and a child now 10 yrs old now, looking for cat free home
a home similar to what they are used too but with someone home much more then current owner (the only reason for rehoming the girls)
looking for someone that has lots of time to love and cherish these 2 wonderful very loved family dogs
owner is looking for just the right matching home as she is gone to work 12 hours daily so looking for much more for the girls
Hope is the mellower one Courage the more playful both looking to follow you around and get lots of love
they would make great couch dogs with a daily walk and a little playtime
both loved the attention and yummy treats
both have been home or quiet neighborhood walks
not dogparks or crowds but as you can see walking first time at the river trail very busy there did very well
but prefer something much calmer
I met them myself a few times
as a stranger entering their home they just wanted to love love love of course they also loved the duck jerky treats and cookies
They are indoor dogs with a dog door to a decent sized fenced secure back yard so looking for similar
they are not inner city dogs but live in a quiet neighborhood for the past 2 years when the owner adopted both from the shelter as they where found as strays as so many
Both are very well behaved and cared for not barkers nor fence jumpers
Courage loves to talk to you for cookies very cute:) she always has a smile on her face
Hope has the more serious look but very sweet both are happy dogs just like Labs are but far less energy
Please only apply if you are looking for both dogs to be in your home for the rest of their lives as we won't split them up they been together most likely forever with Hope being a tad older so we think she is Courages Mom
It be great if you had one or two older kids to play and love on them sleep in bed together but not a must
they have been at many family gatherings so exposed to all ages of kids and dogs and always have been fine
They are looking for a quiet but extra loving lifestyle/family someone home during the day that wants lots of love from two girls and cherish each moment together
see below what owner has to say
Hope & Courage are both very sweet loving dogs. They are attached at the hip and really do care for each other. They give each other baths, they play together, sleep together, and eat together. Anything they do they do together. They don’t play with a lot of toys in fact the only ones they do play with are their babies (a duck & an alligator) and they share those to. When we get home they are always at the door to greet us, smiling and wagging their chars. They love attention, and they love to cuddle. They enjoy walks. Courage does not get along with cats, she does enjoy chasing them though. Hope is great with cats. They only bark when there is someone or something in or around the yard. They are house trained. We love them very much but we are gone 10-12 hours a day and they are not getting the attention they deserve. They would be a great addition to any size family. They love kids, adults, elderly and even teenagers ;)
NO cats please or other small critters that run as Courage will catch them
