Daisy III's Story...

Beautiful Daisy, is an 8 year old Labrador/Rottweiler looking for a foster or adoptive home. Daisy is a true delight at home where she is housetrained and able to stay home alone for long periods. She listens very well, obeys commands, loves people and children and her favorite is being pet!

Even though she is 8 years old, she has many traits of a puppy still. She loves to play, but when over-excited, puppy bites. She pulls on walks and is dog reactive outdoors. Martin from Les Services Laval Dog is willing to take in Daisy on weekends to provide her with training and guidance for her on-leash behaviour, if need be!

Daisy was abused and in terrible condition before she was saved by an animal rescue in BC and since then, lived in a foster home for 3 years with 2 young children, 4 dogs, 4 cats and other animals before she was adopted. Her adoptive family believes she will be happiest living a balanced lifestyle, with her person assuming a leadership role who can devote time and energy to sufficient exercise training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy III, a Montreal Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Montreal, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Montreal.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montreal already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montreal breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montreal paves the way for another one to be saved.
