HI! I'm George!'s Story...
*Available for Adoption around March 15*
Hi! My name is George and I am so happy! Happy! Happy! Happy! I was even happy when I was hurt after most likely being hit by a car and taken to the shelter so that gives you an idea of how happy and nice I am! The nice rescuers saved me and took me to a really great hospital to get my leg fixed. I received FHO surgery and I have a few weeks of rest before I can be active but once that is done I will be like new again! I am approx. 8-10 months old and weigh 10 lbs. I am current on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and crate trained. If you are interested in meeting me you might have to wait until the first week in March but please visit the website for an application. www.apurposefulrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HI! I'm George!, a Los Angeles Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
