My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We believe that every dog deserves love and kindness shown to them. When we first met Clay, the Australian Shepherd mix was very timid with strangers. Less than 1-year-old, he is now a testament to just how resilient young dogs are. In the short time he has been with us, this sweet guy has come so far and is an absolute joy to have around. He is now happy to see all people, loves playtime and fully enjoys the company of other dogs. What he really needs now is a loving person to bond with. Someone who can teach him to trust people and expect good things from them. If you think that might be you and you want to truly make a difference in one dog’s life contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet handsome Clay.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, veterinary exams, and current vaccinations while in our care. This fee helps to defray the costs incurred for these and other pre-adoption expenses.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia, and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
