My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daniella, or Danni, as we call her, has a sad and interesting story. Last autumn, she was wandering around a local urban area pregnant and seemingly homeless. On December 1, she chose a spot in someone's backyard to have her puppies. When the person found the little family, 9 puppies had been born. Five of them were already dead from the cold so the lady took the remaining 4 puppies and their mother inside. Two of those four died over night. Once contacted by an RCCR volunteer, of course we were happy to take the brave mother and her two surviving sons. She was named for her rescuer, Dan. Her boys have been adopted and are thriving in their new homes. Now Danni is ready to find her safe, warm and loving forever home. We did have the pups DNA tested and from the results, we think that Danni is a lab/cattle dog mix. She is about 2 years old, weighs 50 pounds, is beyond house trained and will even use wee wee pads in a pinch. She puts up with all of the shenanigans dished out but the many little dogs in her foster home. Danni is spayed, up to date on all shots, is heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventive, has had a dental cleaning and is microchipped. Her adoption fee, with all vet work done is $250
