This sweet and gorgeous lab mix can be adopted in Texas.

Jett is a 1-1/2 year old lab mix. He is definitely a people dog – he wants to be with his pack where the action is. He would not do well outside away from his humans for long periods of time. He is incredibly affectionate with his people both big and small, but he can be a little heavy “handed”, as in pet me or play with me or I will give you my paw until you do.
He loves to play ball and he is quite good at catching it. He also loves to chew on bones and squeaky toys.

Jett is crate trained and housebroken. He goes to the door if he needs to go out and if you don’t notice him, he will cry so you hear him. If his feet get wet outside he will patiently sit inside the door and stay and give you one paw at a time to be dried.
He is a very smart and very sweet boy. He weighs around 70 pounds and still believes he is a lap dog. If you play catch with him for a few minutes and then let him lay with you on the couch he would love you forever!

Jett is leery of new people and will bark and growl until you spend a few minutes feeding him a handful of treats, then he will be your buddy. He has never been aggressive with people or other animals. He has no food aggression at all. He is submissive to other dogs that he has seen out on walks, rolling over onto his back after a few sniffs. He is neutered, vaccinated, housebroken and micro-chipped.
