Butterball's Story...

(ID #108) Hi, my name is Butterball.

I was found as a stray, wandering the streets trying to find a place to live. I am glad I am at the shelter because it means that I have a roof over my head and I don't have to search for my next meal but I really want a real home with a family. Don't you think I have the cutest face?? Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young lady, somewhere around three years old and I weigh around 40 pounds. I have already been spayed, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, treats, and a certificate for a FREE canine behaviour consultation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterball, a Cincinnati Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
