My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed and size at maturity is only a guess. These are rescued puppies, and we have never seen mom or dad. If you would like to meet this pup, please go to our website at angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line adoption application located under the "forms" tab. Please only email us if you have questions not provided in this bio.

Meet Finn, an adorable, friendly playful pup. He is an awesome puppy. Our best guess is that he was born December 21st, and he weighed 4.5 pounds at his vet check up on 2-16-16. Given his current age and weight, our best guess is that he will not grow to be under 25 pounds as an adult. Finn is being fostered in a home in Plainfield with his sister Millie. They were dropped off at a high intake shelter in Kentucky due to an accidental litter and the family couldn't keep them. He is simply the cutest puppy, and photos do not show how truly cute this little boy is.

Finn is adorable, friendly, playful and energetic. He is a puppy so like most puppies can be a little mouthy. He is fabulous with other dogs, but we don't know about kitties as the foster home doesn't have any kitties.

Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home all day, a puppy isn't the right match for you as it wouldn't be fair for them to be in a crate all night then all day again. Coming home mid afternoon at lunch for a 20 minute walk isn't enough time out of a crate for a puppy to get proper exercise and socialization. Thank you for understanding.

If you would like to meet Finn, please fill out the on-line adoption application at www.angelsonwheels.org, then click on the forms tab. If your the right match for Gizmo, the foster will be in contact with you after your application is processed. It's advised to submit an application immediately if your interested in meeting this pet. Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, which can take several days, we may get applications.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls.

The adoption fee is $350 and includes the neuter which will be done when he is old enough, and you will receive a spay/neuter coupon for one of our participating vets. We ask for a neuter deposit of $100.00 which is held, NOT deposited and then voided once the neuter is completed. This is to help us assure the procedure will be completed.

Finn is current on his DHPP puppy vaccination, microchipped, deworming with panacure, microchip, fecal tested, received Revolution for the prevention of fleas and heartworm, and your 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and any other medical needs. Finn's fecal was positive for Coccidia, and he has been treated for it. For more information about Coccidia, please contact your vet.

We must have an application, sometimes a home visit, reference checked including the vet of current and/or past cats and/or dogs, to approve an application. At the meet and greet, we will need to meet all members of the family including any four legged doggies in your home to assure everyone gets alone. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.

We hope that we have provided you with all the information you will need, and we look forward to seeing your adoption application!
