My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sadie who's owner recently entered an assisted living facility and couldn't take her with her. She's about 9 years old and a sweet girl She loves to sit in laps, chase lasers and "sing". She also loves to go on walks and does great on a leash. She does have a deformed right front leg but that doesn't slow her down or bother her at all. Should would probably do best with a retired woman in a relatively quiet environment.

All of our dogs have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, had rabies, bordetella and distemper/lepto/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and had flea medication applied. They come with a free vet check at Mt. Tabor Vet Care. We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We don't adopt our small dogs out to families with children under 6 years of age. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application and check references.We are not first come, first served and often have multiple applications for the same dog, in which case we reserve the right to choose the home we feel is best. Pound to Posh is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters.
